Eat a locally curated menu, meet the people behind your plate, and shop the goods grown by some of Oregon's best in the Willamette Valley!
A gastronomic experience meets farmers market, this evening will delight your senses with perfect pairings and conversation! Our culinary team is working with more than a half dozen producers to bring an ultra local five-course meal paired with wine to your table. Local growers will be showcased each course and set up in the Barn where you can shop the goods they grow and produce.
Drawing on our history, Ankeny Vineyard sits on land farmed more than 170 years ago by Oregon Trail pioneer and Salem's first mercantile store owner, Thomas Cox. Having custom wagons built to bring dry goods, ammunition, and more to the Oregon Territory, Cox built the first mercantile in Salem on the northeast corner of Ferry and Commercial, which also became the city's first post office. Additionally, he brought seeds across the Trail to plant orchards of apple, peach, and pear trees on the Ankeny hillside, including the one more than nine feet in circumference that towers over the Tasting Room today.
