Join us this December for a special edition of ABC After Hours wine tasting, featuring the rarest wine from Au Bon Climat: Larmes de Grappe. Only 9 vintages of this exceptional wine have been made to date.
What makes Larmes de Grappe so special? The grapes must reach perfect ripeness, and the stems need to undergo lignification, a complex process where stems turn woody and brown. This does not happen every year, making it truly rare. Lignified stems are included in the fermentation process, adding complexity and spice to the wine.
