Join us on Wednesday, February 14 for a dinner and concert by the wonderful trio of blues musicians Ellen Whyte, Gene Houck, and Ken Brewer!
We'll be transforming our event center into a romantic venue with tables for two or four so guests can enjoy an intimate dinner while enjoying the soulful sounds of blues.
Tickets are $75 each and include the concert plus:
* Plated Three-Course Dinner with choice of entree (below):
- Filet Marsala (gf) with Mushroom Risotto and Bacon Braised Brussel Sprouts
- Sockeye Salmon with Lemon Basil Cream Sauce (gf) with Mushroom Risotto and Bacon Braised Brussel Sprouts
- Vegetable Paella (v)
* Caesar salad
* Dinner roll
* Dessert - TBD
* One glass of wine per person
* Concert from 6-8pm (Doors open at 5:45pm)
Additional wine will be available for purchase.
If you wish to sit at a table of up to four guests instead of two guests, you may either purchase tickets at the same time or drop us a note at events@auroracolonyvineyards.comand let us know the name of the couple that you'd like to be seated with. No more than 4 guests will be able to sit together at this special dinner.
About the musicians:
Ellen Whyte, 2015 Oregon Music Hall Of Fame Inductee, Three-Time Grammy Award nominee, and Cascade Blues Association Hall of Fame Inductee on vocals and acoustic guitar.
Gene Houck, who has toured nationally with Maria Muldaur, Blues guitarist Roy Rogers and the late great Norton Buffalo, on vocals and bass guitar.
Ken Brewer moved to Oregon from Connecticut in 1980. He has played with many artists in the Northwest Blues scene and for a time fronted his own band. His focus more recently has been solo performance. He covers a wide variety of artists, genres, and styles ranging from Hank Williams to the Beatles to Jimi Hendrix. He is also doing private instruction on guitar, piano, bass and ukulele
