This summer, we’re excited to introduce something special: Sunday Lobster Gatherings at Blake Cove Farm on Westport Island!
Select Sundays this Summer, we’ll welcome a small group of guests to a private waterfront property where the afternoon is meant to be enjoyed slowly. Come early and explore the land and sea—walk through the woods, wander down to the beach, and take in the quiet beauty of the island.
We’ll begin the afternoon with fresh oysters served by the water, harvested right here from Westport Island. Then, at 4:00 PM sharp, the lobsters will come steaming out of the pot.
Dinner will feature a classic Maine lobster boil, including:
• Fresh lobster from the lobsterman who lives on the property
• Red potatoes
• Corn on the cob
• Steamers
• House cornbread
To finish, we’ll serve classic Maine pie—either strawberry or blueberry depending on what’s in season.
A cash bar will be available on site, and with only 30 spots per gathering, these afternoons are meant to stay intimate, relaxed, and true to the spirit of a Maine summer.
