LOIRE VALLEY FOOD & WINE DINNER - INSPIRED BY CLASSICS
TTravel to the French region of Loire Valley once a home to noblemen and women at Bartolotta’s Lake Park Bistro on Thursday, August 17. The Loire Valley is a cultural and historical destination with beautiful limestone châteaux, breathtaking gardens, and vast vineyards.
Loire Valley, popularly known as the "Garden of France," produces superb produce and wine due to its mild climate and fertile land. For hundreds of years, Loire Valley locals have relied on fresh, locally grown ingredients for their cuisine, which is rich in flavors and textures and includes popular ingredients like goat cheese, freshwater pike perch, and game meat. The wine produced in this region is equally as intricate and diverse as the cuisine. Whether you're in the mood for a crisp rosé, a juicy or full-bodied and brooding Cabernet Franc, or a delightful glass of sparkling, there is something that will complement and complete the cuisine that goes with it.
For this one-night-only event, Sous Chef Austin Reichold and Sommelier Mariana Popescu collaborated to create the perfect food and wine pairings. The evening will entail a five-course meal paired with five wines that will be sipped in secret throughout the course of the evening before the wines are revealed at the end of the night.
Join us as we eat and drink our way through Loire Valley.
Doors will open at 6 PM, and dinner will be served at 6:30 PM.
