Step through time at Baxter's 1892, a classic cocktail bar in Downtown New Bern, NC. Originally a jewelry store for over 100 years, we now offer exquisite food, handcrafted drinks, and live music for an unforgettable experience.

Now introducing Outdoor Dining on Fridays in June 2023 6:30pm to 10:30pm. Reserve below as we announce each Friday (weather depending). See below to book. Reservation times are 2 hrs outside for all parties as seating and street closure times are limited. As per the city, our tables have to be moved by 10:45pm. **** IMPORTANT: Please also be mindful that the Mezzanine and Private Rooms are on the second floor. This is a historic building and there is not an elevator available. Primarily being a bar, we also are not able to accommodate with high chairs or juice cups.
