Join us for an evening that celebrates the depth, character, and craftsmanship of New Jersey’s agricultural community.
Our Garden State Dinner Series brings together the farmers, growers, and makers who shape our region. These dinners are rooted in connection—to the land, to the people behind the ingredients, and to the season at hand.
On June 12, we are proud to feature Salt & Clover Sheep Farm, a South Jersey sheep dairy carrying forward a legacy that began in 2016 and continues today under new stewardship. Their work centers around raising East Friesian dairy sheep and producing rich, nutrient-dense sheep’s milk used in cheeses, yogurts, and other dairy products.
With a focus on thoughtful animal care, seasonal milking, and traditional practices, Salt & Clover represents a new generation of local farming—one that honors the past while building something meaningful for the future.
The evening’s menu will be built around their products and the peak ingredients of the season, highlighting the depth and character of South Jersey’s agricultural landscape.
Guests will begin the evening wandering the farm with a drink in hand, followed by a seated, family-style dinner in the hoop house. Throughout the night, you’ll hear directly from our partners and team—sharing their story, their process, and what it means to produce food with intention.
This is not just a dinner. It’s a conversation about place, season, and the people who make it all possible.
As with all dinners in this series, proceeds will be donated to our local Cape May County 4-H Club to inspire and support the next generation of farmers.
We look forward to gathering around the table to celebrate good food, good farming, and the strength of New Jersey agriculture.
