Award Winning Cheeses: A Benefit for Chicago Children's Advocacy Center
Join Beautiful Rind as we raise funds for Chicago Children's Advocacy Center. This awards season we wanted to highlight a few of the award-winning cheeses we offer at our shop. This will be a fun and informative class and tasting of some seriously delicious cheese. The cheesemongers of Beautiful Rind will be discussing and showcasing cheeses that have won at the American Cheese Society Awards and the World Cheese Awards. We'll also let you know how and why these cheeses won these awards. It'll be a lot more fun than the award shows later that day.
Best of all $20 of each ticket goes directly to Chicago Children's Advocacy Center, https://www.chicagocac.org/ . Chicago CAC is a unique collaboration that brings child protection, law enforcement, and healing services together under one roof to respond to, treat, and ultimately prevent child abuse. In 2021, CCAC responded to 2,377 reports of possible abuse or violence against children and provided over 6,000 hours of therapy for children and families.
For your comfort, this class is being offered in-person and virtually. You may select your preference after booking your tickets. Each ticket will receive a tasting kit of at least four different cheeses and a variety of accompaniments. Alcohol and charcuterie pairings are available for purchase at check out.
If new Covid restrictions go in place, we reserve the right to cancel the class or move entirely online. All participants will be offered a full refund if they wish to cancel in that circumstance.
To ensure a safe and comfortable setup, all group reservations must be made under a single name or may not be seated together.
All participants purchasing alcohol pairings must be 21+ with a valid ID.
All sales are final and non-refundable. We are also unable to transfer class tickets to another date.
