Singer/composer Nona Invie will release their album "Self-soothing" on Feb. 28 and celebrate with two album release shows at Berlin. This one will feature an opening performance by saxophonist Mary Hanson Scott. The other, on Feb. 28, will feature a 60-minute performance of "Self-soothing" and be followed by a Late Night Lounge set by DJ Enyahouse.
Invie is a singer/composer based in Minneapolis who has worked with a range of musical projects, including folk/Americana band Dark Dark Dark, electronic trio RONiiA, and the choral ensemble Anonymous Choir. Their solo work layers acoustic piano with synth instruments, creating an ethereal landscape to get lost in.
