BloodRoot After Dark- Tasting No. 1: "Beyond Champagne" Supernova w/ Morgan Gray
BloodRoot presents "After Dark: An Educational Wine Series" in our cozy tasting room in Downtown Healdsburg! After Dark will be a series occurring throughout the year led by various wine professionals in our community, all sharing their expertise on different aspects of the expansive world of wine.
Morgan Gray, Advanced Sommelier (and our very own National Sales Manager!) is kicking it off with a tasting of some of her favorite sparkling wines that show off multiple regions and winemaking techniques from all over the globe. We will feature 6 different wines, poured as a blind tasting for us all to test our knowledge and abilities, quickly followed by a presentation about each wine.
Whether you're a seasoned wine professional or just starting to dip your toes into the world of wine, there will be something for everyone!
What's included:
-A diverse selection of 6 wines from around the world incorporating different winemaking methods set up as a blind tasting
-Cheese & Charcuterie nibbles from Chef Chris Raymer
-Informative presentation on the wines, regions, techniques & more
-Wines from the flight will be available for purchase following the tasting
-We do recommend bringing a copy of the Court of Master Sommeliers tasting grid to maximize your blind tasting experience!
