On Saturday, September 30th, J. Henry Distillery will be hosting their third annual outdoor dinner in collaboration with Cadre to celebrate the 2023 harvest and the release of their second batch of Armagnac-barrel finished La Flamme Bourbon.
The event will take place on site at J. Henry & Sons Farm in Dane and include a tour of the distillery with welcome cocktail, appetizers, and bourbon tasting followed by a tented dinner in the traditional style of Gascony:
Tables overflowing with bread, cheeses, terrines, and seasonal vegetables, paired with Bourbon cocktails and French wine. Chef Evan Dannells will be tending a massive cauldron of stew from which guests will be served personally, and at sunset, distiller Joe Henry will prepare a traditional flaming brûlot to pair with dessert.
Live music will accompany the dinner, all food and beverage will be included in the ticket price, and ample parking will be available on site.
**This year we will also be offering the option to purchase tickets for a shuttle bus from the east and west-side of Madison (location TBD)**
Tickets are limited and all guests will have the opportunity to purchase bottles of J. Henry's La Flamme bourbon before public release.
