In this In-Person class you will learn how to cook maìz and transform it into Nixtamal for hominy & masa. We will also grind fresh masa using a countertop mill, work with fresh masa in order to troubleshoot common problems, we will make atole, and tortillas/quesadillas.
Class includes atole & light snacks, not a full meal.
Class is held in Berkeley, at Bolita 2701 8th Street #109.
As part of the class, you will take home 1kg of fresh masa.
