Café des Amis is pleased to embark on a new series of educational wine tastings for those who want to learn about, purchase and collect, wonderful wines from France, and elsewhere. These tastings will be taught and guided by Rich Zellich from Pinnacle Imports. For this special event, we will be joined by Anthony Geary, Advanced-level Sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers, and the Central Regional Manager for Albert Bichot!
This tasting will run approximately 60-75 minutes and will feature 6 wines from the region(s) that we will study, and is limited to just 30 guests.
Anthony Geary returns for one of our most popular classes we have ever done! He will be teaching the secrets of blind tasting, and evaluating wines. Anthony will talk about texture, tannin, acidity, the difference in cool climate verses warm climate wines and much more. This will be a fun and educational event for people of all levels!
After the tasting, each wine will be available for purchase at very special prices.
The wines scheduled to be tasted: Well, we cannot tell you that, this time, but it will be 6 wonderful French wines from at least 2 different regions!
