¡Vamos de Pachanga! In Mexican culture, a “Pachanga” is a casual party where friends and family get together to enjoy food, drink, and music.
The best part of wine is its magical ability to bring people together. It’s especially better at the table with a delicious homecooked meal. We routinely have meals together as a team, and those leisurely afternoons spent enjoying food and wine together are the most memorable. We’ve naturally grown an affinity for Mexican food and culture given that three of our friends and fellow winegrowers call Mexico their home. And yes, we love Mexican food with just about any wine.
We would like to extend to you all an invitation to our inaugural “Pre-Harvest Pachanga” where you can gather with us for a casual night of authentic and home cooked Mexican fare, accompanied by your favorite wines from Catoctin Breeze. Our friend Lis will be preparing traditional dishes like quesabirrias, tacos dorados and tacos al pastor – everything made from scratch.
Tickets are $45 per person and include a glass of Catoctin wine with your meal. Attendance will be limited to just 60 guests - we expect spots to fill quickly. Each membership is limited to two tickets. The “Pachanga” will be held on August 1 from 6-8pm.
We hope you'll join us as we celebrate the season ahead and raise a glass to another exciting harvest at Catoctin!
