Treading or “Stomping” is an ancient Roman practice that continues in the Douro Valley of Portugal. This soft yet intense crushing action creates an unrivaled smoothness to the wine while allowing greater control over the crushing & releasing of tannins and color.

Online registration stops on Saturday, September. 26 at 11:00 a.m. Registration at the door on the day of event changes to $33.
There are 2 sessions. The first session is Noon - 1:25 p.m. The second starts at 1:30 p.m. and ends at 3 p.m. No matter which session you are in, if you are arriving in the latter part of your session please arrive no later than 30 minutes before it ends.
Guidelines
Wear clothes you don't mind getting messy.
A signed waiver is required for all stompers. Read and sign liability waiver at entrance.
Youth under 19 years of age may stomp for free when accompanied by parent or guardian.
Stomping will be with clear plastic boots over your soft-soled shoes, socks, or bare feet.
Shoes should be easy to remove.
Consider adding baby oil to your feet and legs to reduce staining. Watch out though, this will make your feet more slippery so use caution.
