El Cochinito, "The Little Pig". The most authentic Cuban restaurant in Los Angeles opened in 1988 by Gladys Gutierrez. El Cochinito takes inspiration from traditional homestyle cuisine. The restaurant's history goes back to the 1950's in Havana, Cuba where Glady's father opened his restaurant.
