D.A.Ranch celebrates the end of harvest season with activities all weekend long, rounded out by a unique stargazing experience on Sunday evening. Did you know that D.A. Ranch was once the home of Vesto Sipher, Director of Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff, AZ where Pluto was discovered? Here is your chance to experience the night sky too!
StarWalk™ is a unique, self-guided stargazing experience designed to make exploring the night sky fun, easy, and accessible for everyone. Guests move through a collection of professional telescopes, each focused on a different celestial object, allowing them to discover the Moon, planets, star clusters, nebulae, galaxies, and other wonders of the night sky at their own pace. StarWalk combines high-quality telescopes with simple, engaging guidance to create an interactive astronomy experience that is both educational and memorable—perfect for families, couples, and anyone curious about the universe.
The family-friendly weekend includes live music, food vendors, pumpkin painting, lawn games and photo opportunities among the vines, with photographer Chelsea Cassidy available for vineyard sessions. Guests can also enjoy a vertical tasting of Red Barn Red vintages from 2022-2024, along with select Collective Series and reserve library wines typically only available through the Arizona Wine Club.
Saturday’s music lineup features Pick & Holler at 11 a.m. and Sister & The Sun at 3 p.m. Joe Baker performs Sunday at 11 a.m., followed by Nick & Rosie at 3 p.m. Pizzeria Ivey, Savories Mobile Gourmet and CottonTails Cotton Candy will be onsite throughout the weekend.
The weekend activities are free and open to the public except for this special stargazing experience. Book your spot now.
