In addition, Chef Clément Gelas of Talisker Club will be returning to lead the culinary offerings for an unforgettable evening.
In 1976, a now-legendary tasting in Paris reshaped the world of wine. Known as the Judgment of Paris, this historic blind tasting, organized by British wine merchant Steven Spurrier and Patricia Gallagher, brought together France’s most respected wine experts to evaluate top Chardonnay’s and red wines from both France and California. At a time when French labels dominated the market, this moment marked the global arrival of California as a serious force in winemaking; forever changing perceptions and opening the door to a more diverse and competitive wine world.
