Set high at the top of the Dundee Hills—Oregon’s most prestigious and storied winegrowing region—our estate vineyard offers a one-of-a-kind experience that takes you beyond the tasting room and into the heart of the land itself. Join Domaine Lumineux winemaker Dave Petterson for a guided hike through the vineyard, where you’ll taste wines in the very place they were grown—surrounded by the vines, soils, and natural landscape that define them.
As you move through the vineyard’s varied terrain, Dave will share insight into clonal selection, farming practices, and how each block contributes its own unique character to the wines. With a background in geology and cartography—and more than 18 years of experience making wine from this exact site—Dave brings a rare depth of knowledge and perspective to this immersive experience.
This experience includes inclines, uneven terrain, and unpaved paths—it’s a true vineyard hike, and you’ll earn every sip.
Experience Details:
• Hikes offered at 10am, 12pm, and 2pm.
• Limited to 10 guests per hike
• Dogs welcome (if friendly, leashed, and well-behaved)
• This is a fully outdoor experience - Portable restrooms will be available
• Picnicking is welcome after the hike (BYOP)

By booking this experience, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks of hiking through a working vineyard, including uneven terrain, inclines, declines, and exposure to outdoor conditions (heat, sun, insects, or sudden weather changes).
Participants are responsible for wearing suitable footwear and assessing their physical ability to complete the hike. Domaine Lumineux is not liable for injuries, loss, or damages sustained during the experience.
Guests bringing dogs are fully responsible for their behavior. Must be 21+ to participate.
