In the last year, a number of Mark Ward's wines from across our family of wineries have earned 'BEST OF' awards in numerous International Competitions. For the first time ever, we are offering them all in one comprehensive tasting.
Senior wine ambassador, Frank Lynch, will guide you through these wines while discussing winemaker techniques, tricks and giving information about the competition process itself.
Among others, you'll sample:
Effingham Manor Chardonnay: BEST in Class American Wine Society.
Pearmund Cellars Cabernet Franc: BEST in Virginia Harvest Challenge.
Vint Hill Viognier: BEST White Wine in Country, San Francisco Chronicle.
And 5 other wines that are considered the BEST by professional judges around the Country.
Two sessions held at 1pm and 3PM in our Barrel Room, this 60-minute session blends education and entertainment in equal measure. As always, it’s 60 degrees in the barrel room, so dress to enjoy the wine in comfort.
All wines will be available for purchase at the event.
