Warm up your spring break with a hands-on cooking class focused on comfort food classics and real kitchen skills. Young chefs will learn how to build flavor from the ground up by making a simple vegetable stock using fresh, seasonal ingredients. From there, they’ll transform the stock into a hearty, kid-friendly soup, learning how aromatics, herbs, and vegetables work together.
To complete the meal, students will prepare a vegetable-packed sandwich or classic grilled cheese, practicing knife skills, stovetop cooking, and proper food safety. We’ll explore how soups and sandwiches pair together and how small additions like herbs, cheese can elevate a simple dish.
