Learn tips on how to grow, harvest, and store summer crops, including tomatoes, summer squash, peppers, and zucchini, as well as ideas on how to prepare, cook, and preserve the bounty of your garden. In the kitchen, you’ll learn how to preserve tomatoes by making sauce, roasting and preserving tomatoes in oil, and making tomato relish as well as how to use many of summer vegetables in a delicious ratatouille. You’ll also go home with your own jar of Elawa Farm tomato sauce. This class will be led by our Edible Garden Specialist, Elaine Madansky, and Executive Chef, Lee Kuebler.
