Everyone knows the saying “Easy as Pie”. Classically, this alludes to how easy pie is to eat, but not to make. This class will conquer the hard part--the making of the pie. Join Elawa Farm's own pastry chef, Maggie Logan, as we create pies and tarts using locally harvested fruits. Learn how to make pie dough and filling using interesting ingredient combinations. Each student will take home pies and tarts, as well as recipes to recreate them at home. Become a Pro in one class and discover that making this classic dessert is truly “Easy as Pie”.
