On the cusp of seasonal change, I love designing a menu that speaks to where we are at.
This is a menu for entering spring, with just enough cozy elements to honor Chicago's 3rd winter. (half kidding)
Here is our menu!
1) Baked Inari: Sweet Tofu packets filled with our cashew mozzarella
2) Golden Cauliflower Soup: Cashew Cream and Vadouvan Spring Vegetables
3) Seared Asparagus with Saffron Hollandaise, Kumquats, and Smoked Sesame Crackers
4) Peking 'Duck' Yuba Buns: Soy and 5-spice glazed Crisp Yuba Rolls, Sauerkraut, Watercress, and Sweet Peppers served with Buns with Spicy Chinese Mustard
5) Warm Strawberry Hibiscus Jam Phyllo Pastries!
Served with Powdered Matcha Sugar
