Simon Drew is an Australian musician, poet, and founder of The Sanctuary Studio for the Arts & Humanities. As a singer, trumpeter, pianist, and educator, he has performed around the world with his jazz quartet, released multiple albums, and appeared at renowned venues, festivals, and aboard the world's largest cruise ships. Since emigrating to the United States in 2022, Simon has become an active part of Southern California's arts community, performing regularly at Disneyland and venues throughout Los Angeles and Orange County while cultivating a thriving artistic home through The Sanctuary Studio in Downtown Santa Ana.
With a smooth vocal tone and lyrical trumpet style, Simon is best known for his interpretations of the Great American Songbook. Inspired by Frank Sinatra and West Coast jazz icons such as Chet Baker, his performances blend warmth, elegance, and melodic improvisation. Beyond jazz, he is equally devoted to contemplative and experimental music, creating immersive soundscapes with piano, didgeridoo, traditional flutes, and other folk instruments that invite reflection, stillness, and deep listening.
