Big Daisy Energy takes the stage as a trio, bringing the kind of live sound that fills a room without ever needing to shout. Layered lead and harmony vocals, acoustic guitar, driving electric bass, and percussion all at once — the effect is a much larger ensemble than the lineup suggests. They can slide from easy background groove to full-on party band in a heartbeat, which is exactly the energy we like around here. Soulcem vocalist and guitarist Brenna Durnin brings 26 years of live performance behind a soulful voice shaped by Stevie Nicks, Hozier, James Taylor, and Heart. Drew Newman — London-born, Edmonds-based — has been playing weddings, events, and venues since 2005, pairing creative instrumentation with an audio designer's ear. Together as a trio, they're a whole lot of sound and a whole lot of fun!
