Loper's alt-folk sound weaves soaring vocals with intricate fingerpicking, drawing on Irish and Americana traditions alongside artists like The Innocence Mission and Gillian Welch. The Bluegrass Situation called her music "understated and beautiful," and Americana UK debuted her 2025 album Weathervane Whale as a "dream-folk debut." She's toured the West Coast with Deb Talan of The Weepies, playing rooms like The Triple Door and the Alberta Rose Theater, and also performs with the Seattle duo Dravus House.
