Moon Festival, or Mid-Autumn Festival, is one of the most important holidays in many Asian cultures, dating back over 3,000 years. Customs and festival foods vary, but one thing is shared — it is a day of reunion.
Did you know that in Taiwan, Mid-Autumn Festival has also become the unofficial BBQ day of the year? What could be better than hanging out at night, grilling food, sharing drinks, and looking at the moon?
For the 4th year in a row, the Good To Eat family invites you to celebrate with us! As previously featured on KQED, our annual festival brings a little piece of a Taiwanese autumn night to Emeryville.
We’re recreating that feeling right here — think Taiwanese night market meets backyard reunion. Walk up to the BBQ stand, watch your food come off the grill, play the classic dice game for Taiwanese sausage, listen to live music and DJs, grab a drink, and hang out. The aroma from the grill, the chatter, the music, the energy — this is the time of year to gather with people we love under the moon.

HOW IT WORKS
Tock shows the ticket price per person, including the event ticket with BBQ tokens and a 20% service charge. Applicable sales tax is added at checkout.
Each ticket includes 7 tokens ($49 food & beverage value), enough to enjoy a full meal plus a drink at GTE. Every guest receives a Taiwanese ice pop and hot tea from us.
Tokens can be redeemed for items such as whole squid, Taiwanese sausage, corn, beer, sparkling tea, house-baked mooncakes, and more.
Children under 4 receive free admission.
Reservations use different arrival times to manage guest flow and reduce food waste. Please arrive near your selected time. Walk-ins may be accepted as space allows.
DIETARY RESTRICTIONS
The menu will include some vegetarian options. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate gluten-free diets at this event. GTE BBQ sauce contains peanuts.
