Viaggio in Vino: a journey through Italian wine featuring Terra Madre Imports
We’re thrilled to partner once again with Terra Madre Imports for an exceptional walk-around tasting.
Terra Madre is one of Colorado’s top importers of Italian wine. If you’ve been to a Grappolo event, you’ve almost certainly tasted at least one of their producers. Giuseppe and Alisha have close personal relationships with the small grower families they represent, and we believe that makes Colorado’s wine landscape far richer.
We run this event like a professional trade tasting. Expect to sample 30 wines from across Italy, north to south, with a special focus on premium bottles from Barolo, Barbaresco, and Tuscany (Montalcino and Montepulciano).
Beyond Nebbiolo and Sangiovese, you’ll explore native grapes like Timorasso, Erbaluce, Enantio, Barbera, Corvina, and Primitivo. Alongside them are standout Metodo Classico sparkling wines and some of Italy’s finest Chardonnay, Riesling, and Pinot Nero. It’s the most impressive lineup we’ve ever put together.
This is a rare chance to taste some true gems, including library vintages like 2013 Amarone and 2016 and 2018 Barbaresco.
Every wine will be available to order through our retail partner, Bonnie Brae, so you can stock your cellar or get ready for the holidays.
