WSET's Level 2 Award in Wines is a beginner- to intermediate-level qualification exploring wines, suitable for industry professionals and wine enthusiasts.
You’ll gain knowledge of the principal and regionally important grape varieties of the world, the regions in which they are grown, and the styles of wine they produce. Through a combination of tasting and theory, you’ll explore the factors that impact style and quality and learn how to describe these wines with confidence.

Ticket Details: £575 per person to include all course materials, 16 hours of guided study time, all tasting samples (approximately 43 wines), study materials, lunch (dietary requirements must be communicated at the time of booking) and exam fees. Please note: this course requires at least 11 hours of private study.
Study Materials: Students will receive the WSET Level 2 Award in Wines course study pack upon arrival at school. This consists of the course text book, a study guide (complete with maps, example questions, and forms for your own tasting notes) and laminated tasting card.
Course Delivery: The course has a requirement of a minimum of 16 hours of guided study time with an Approved Programme Provider. This is an in-person course, taught at Hambledon Wine Estate, over 3 consecutive Sundays. Assessment is by a 60 minute closed-book theory examination of 50 multiple-choice questions. The pass mark is 55%. The exam is sat at the end of the third day.
