Join us as we go behind the scenes and explore Hambledon's gravity-fed winery and learn the process and considerations that go into making our award-winning sparkling wines. This tour takes place in both our winery and barrel room; the latter is not accessible on our public Tour and Tasting.
This guided Winery Tour will give you in-depth insight to the world of our winemakers, and the decisions we make throughout the year, including trying some samples from the tank and barrels, finishing with a tasting of four of our sparkling wines. Perfect if you'd like a deeper understanding of English wine or are interested in studying Oenology.
The Winery Tour is led by one of our knowledgeable guides and there will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions.
There is the opportunity to add Cheese, Charcuterie or Mezze boards to your booking (which is served with the post tour tasting), or book a table for lunch in our restaurant. If choosing to dine in the restaurant, please book a table from 12:30 onwards.
Please note that this tour experience involves prolonged standing and walking, often on uneven ground. Access to the winery involves climbing 2 metal spiral staircases, therefore is not suitable for anyone with mobility considerations. Please do call us to discuss further if you are unsure if the tour will be suitable for you.
