THIRST TRAP is the first ever celebration of west coast producers of traditional method sparkling wine! THIRST TRAP celebrates innovative, thoughtful winemakers who are using lesser-known, climate-resilient grape varieties, along with ecologically smart farming practices.
The goal for this year’s event is to bring together a small cohort of producers exploring the world of traditional method sparkling wine on a boutique scale. This event is not about categorical purity, but passionate craftsmanship and responsible farming. Some of the producers lean more in the minimal intervention direction, others less so.
