For one evening, Akoya Omakase and Jade Jaguar come together for a collaborative dining experience that brings two distinct expressions of hospitality to one table.
Akoya Omakase, led by Chef Peter Hoang, brings a thoughtful and intimate omakase experience to Kansas City. Named Best Chef by Kansas City Magazine, Chef Peter has built a restaurant celebrated for its carefully selected ingredients, refined technique, and personal style of hospitality that allows each course to feel intentional and connected. Akoya Omakase has also been recognized by Kansas City Magazine as Best New Restaurant, Best Sushi, and Best Seafood. For this collaboration, Chef Peter and the Akoya team will bring their omakase approach into Jade Jaguar's space for a one-night dinner built around sushi, seasonal ingredients, and curated pairings.
Inspired by the energy of Mexico City, Jade Jaguar is a community-driven cocktail bar built on thoughtful hospitality. In its first year, operating partners Manny Gomez and Seth Goldwasser have helped establish it as one of Kansas City's standout cocktail destinations, with its signature drink, El Chango, earning Best Cocktail of 2026.
Throughout the evening, each course will be paired with a cocktail created exclusively for the menu, highlighting the craftsmanship and hospitality that define both teams. Designed as an intimate, one-night-only experience, this collaboration offers guests the opportunity to experience the precision of omakase alongside the vibrant spirit of Jade Jaguar in a setting created for gathering, conversation, and memorable hospitality.
Tickets are $225 per guest and include the full omakase experience with cocktail pairings. Tax and gratuity are not included in the ticket price. Due to the nature of the menu, dietary restrictions and allergies cannot be accommodated.
