Domaines Ott was founded in 1896 when Marcel Ott, an agricultural engineer from Alsace, began restoring neglected vineyard land across Provence after the phylloxera crisis, eventually establishing the distinct estates now known as Château de Selle, Clos Mireille, and Château Romassan. This tasting explores four different expressions of fine, southern French wine through the coastal freshness of "By Ott," the limestone-driven structure of Château de Selle, the Mourvèdre-based depth of Château Romassan Bandol Rosé, and the ultra-premium, ceramic-aged 2023 Étoile Rosé, a rare master-blend that captures the core essence of all three of Ott's historic properties. Together, the lineup highlights how geography, grape composition, and élevage shape dramatically different wines within the same historic estate, tracing a path through the sun-exposed vineyards and maritime climate of southern France. A selection of delicious cheese & charcuterie will accompany the wines, further showing how Domaines Ott’s Provençal rosé’s herbal, citrus, and saline characters can work harmoniously and versatility with a variety of foods and flavors.
