Don't miss a very special upcoming tasting on Saturday, May 23rd, "Judgement of Paris 50 Years: You Be the Judge" To mark the 50th anniversary of the Judgement of Paris tasting, K&L buyers Ryan Woodhouse, Alex Pross, and Ryan Moses selected the wines they would submit if the landmark blind tasting were recreated in 2026—choosing modern benchmark bottles from California, Burgundy, and Bordeaux. Guests will taste eight wines blind, including four whites and four reds, in a format inspired by the original 1976 event that reshaped global perceptions of French and California wine. We don't want to give too many hints, but we can tell you that wines will include Grand Cru Burgundy ($300+), classic Napa Cabernet ($200+) and more. Considering it would cost $1,250 to take the full lineup home, this promises to be a spectacular opportunity to taste what our buyers think is some of the very best. As K&L also celebrates its own 50th anniversary, the tasting offers a chance to revisit one of wine’s defining historical moments through the lens of today’s producers, regions, and evolving styles.
