Join us at the Irish Center as we screen the tuneful and emotional Sing Street.
Sing Street mixes music and comedy to create a vivid picture of Dublin’s rock and
roll scene in the mid-1980s. The story takes off when Conor notices a beautiful
girl. Hoping to catch her attention, he forms a band with other teenage dreamers.
Surprisingly, with every lyric he writes, the gap between Conor and the girl of his
dreams narrows.
Sing Street is rated PG-13 and was released in 2016.
