In the shadow of a car park in England's oldest town, because it's still a town to us. Kintsu is dragging Essex from the culinary dark ages serving ingredient led tasting menus inspired by the diversity of modern Britain.

At Kintsu we offer tasting menus inspired by the seasons and the cultural diversity of modern Britain. As of April 1st 2026 only our full tasting menu will be available Friday and Saturday Evenings. We will continue to offer our short tasting menu midweek and weekend lunchtimes. Vegetarian, Pescatarian and Gluten Free menus can be arranged with at least 48hrs notice. We cannot cater to all allergies and cannot offer menus without egg, dairy or soy. We can cater to some other dietary requirements if they do not pose a severe risk to your health, however we are not an allergy free kitchen and trace cross contamination could occur.
