Wine Dinner - Champagne Houses of Salon & Delamotte
Champagne Salon stands as one of the most singular Champagne Houses in the world of wine—dedicated exclusively to producing a Single Cuvée, from a Single Cru, from a Single Grape: 100% Grand Cru Chardonnay from Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. Salon ages for a minimum of 10 years on the lees and is produced in tiny quantities, around 30,000–60,000 bottles per declared vintage.
Since its founding in 1905, Salon has declared only 45 vintages, each released only when nature grants perfection. Originally produced for his personal pleasure, M. Salon began offering his Champagne to influential clients and acquaintances from the fashion world. The brand quickly gained international renown while remaining remarkably difficult to find. One of the few places to openly serve Salon was the legendary Maxim’s in Paris.
On October 14th, join Cristian Rimoldi, Export Director for Champagne Salon and Delamotte. Born in Argentina, Cristian studied marketing and business in Buenos Aires before working with L’Oréal and Peugeot-Citroën in Latin America. Back in France, he combined his international experience with his passion for French art de vivre and gastronomy, leading him to Champagne. Today, he represents two contrasting yet complementary houses: ultra-rare Champagne Salon and Delamotte.
For this special evening, we will highlight three iconic Salon vintages, top cuvées from Delamotte and Red Burgundy in magnum from Domaine Ponsot. Chef Andrea will create a unique fall-inspired menu featuring exceptional ingredients crafted to pair with this outstanding selection.
