We’re excited to welcome Chef Christian Padilla of Copper Ash Culinary to our Elgin Tasting Room as we continue our series of Chef’s Dinners. Chef Padilla is a Tucson-based private chef and consultant who brings a distinct voice to Southwestern dining. Prior to opening Copper Ash Culinary, Christian Padilla was Chef de Cuisine at Flying V at Loewe’s Ventana Canyon where he built a for dishes which folded classical French techniques with the depth and soul of Sonoran flavors.
Before relocating back to Arizona, Chef Christian Padilla cooked in Spain and was well known in the foodie scene in Seattle, Washington. Born in Nogales, Arizona, Christian’s approach to food was shaped by the Sonoran borderlands. He draws upon traditional recipes with multicultural influences and transforms them into a cuisine that is evocative and precise.
Join us in the Elgin Tasting Room at 5:30 pm. for a Sonoran coastal menu featuring mesquite grilled seafood such as Elote Oysters, Rabbit Al Pastor, and venison. Tickets are $150 and include dinner and wine, but tax and gratuity are additional.
Paired with Chef Padilla's five course menu is an incredible lineup of Arizona wines including Mountain Thunder Ranch, Four Tails Vineyard, Rune Wines, Los Milics Vineyards
