We are excited to be welcoming Chris Fladwood from Soter Vineyards for this very special wine dinner. Chef Eric has a long history with this celebrated Oregon producer, which is highly regarded for its sparkling wines and Pinot Noir. Soter is graciously sharing wines that are not commonly found here in Charlotte, along with back vintages from their library, especially for this event.
Before returning to his native Oregon to make wine in 2006, founder Tony Soter helped shape what would become the modern Napa Valley Cabernet, working with wineries such as Chappellet, Shafer, Spottswoode and Dalla Valle. Chris Fladwood, Soter's current winemaker, joined the team as Cellar Master in 2009. He now carries on Soter's tradition of producing wines with great care, using time-honored, small-lot methods that preserve the regional characteristics of Willamette wines.
We can't think of a better way to usher in the warmer days of Spring than with this lineup of fantastic, food-friendly wines, which will be paired with 7 courses of delicious food from our kitchen, plus a few small bites during the reception.
