Lee Foss is an American DJ, producer, and label founder who has become one of the most influential figures in modern house and tech-house music. Originally from DeKalb, Illinois, and shaped by Chicago’s rich house music heritage, Foss gained international recognition through his distinctive blend of deep house, techno, disco, and soulful grooves.
He is best known as the co-founder of Hot Creations alongside Jamie Jones, a label that helped define the underground house music sound of the 2010s. Foss is also a founding member of Hot Natured, whose tracks such as “Benediction” and “Reverse Skydiving” brought underground house music to a wider audience.
In addition to Hot Creations, Foss launched Repopulate Mars, a label and event brand focused on cutting-edge house and techno music. Through his labels, productions, and DJ performances around the world, he has played a major role in shaping contemporary dance music culture.
Today, Lee Foss remains a sought-after performer, producer, and tastemaker, known for championing innovative artists and pushing the evolution of underground electronic music.
