The Marble Room Wine Dinner Series is proud to present our next special event! This will be our first ever "series within a series" of wine dinners. This year, we will be hosting 4 separate wine dinners with Caymus Vineyards - one per quarter, to honor the flavors, ingredients, and magic of each season. Our second dinner will honor Summer and all of it's new abundance.
Join us for an evening inside a former bank vault that once held the fortunes of Cleveland - where this summer, we're telling the story of a family who bet everything on a single valley and never looked back.
In 1857, Chuck Wagner's great-great-grandfather captained a wagon train from Missouri to California. In 1972, a nineteen-year-old Chuck said yes to building a winery on that same land with nothing but Rutherford soil and four generations of stubbornness.
What followed was the 2020 Special Selection - the only wine in the world named Wine Spectator Wine of the Year twice. A Malbec grown in the Argentine Andes and sailed across an ocean to be finished in Napa. A decade-apart vertical of the 2013 and 2023 Caymus Cabernet, poured side by side so you can taste what ten years does to a wine this bold. Seven courses to compliment - from Bulgarian Osetra Caviar to braised short rib pierogi with summer truffle bordelaise.
