Experience McEvoy Ranch during olive harvest, the most vital season on the Ranch. This guided 45-minute experience follows the journey of our estate-grown olives from tree to mill.
The tour begins in Orchard 8, where guests walk among our olive trees and learn how they are grown, tended, and harvested. From there, follow the same path our freshly picked olives take back toward the mill while learning about our harvest practices and how the fruit is transformed into our award-winning extra virgin olive oil.
At the mill, guests will get a behind-the-scenes look at our olive oil production process and learn how freshly harvested fruit moves through each stage of milling. Because harvest follows the rhythms of the orchard, active milling cannot be guaranteed during every tour. Whether the mill is running or between batches, guests will gain a firsthand look at this essential part of the harvest season.
The experience concludes with freshly milled olive oil and bread, enjoyed within view of the mill floor.
