Join us to celebrate the start of summer at MVD's outdoor patio with a special wine event featuring our friend and special guest, Fred Magnotta, owner of the Scranton-based wine importer F. Magnotta, Inc.
Who doesn't enjoy a delicious glass of wine over dinner with family and friends? We certainly do. And what better place to do it than outside, in a favorite shady spot, with a summer breeze in the backyard, deck, dock, or garden.
These outdoor summer moments are often improvised, which makes them such a delight. Rain, or wind, or a heat wave, bring a change of plans. But we have you covered with either an umbrella (or a roof, if need be). No matter what, the food, the wine, and the company will be great.

Fred is a natural storyteller who has the rare ability to mix humor, technical knowledge, and industry insider information. Fred's company specializes in high-quality, low-production vintages from throughout Italy. He has helped us shape our wine list to become an integral part of the restaurant.
The tasting includes five Italian wines paired with special menu items, created for the event by MVD Owner and Chef Val Sartor, to illustrate the beauty of pairing food with wine. The event is designed with beginners in mind, but even those well-versed in Italy's wines and culture will surely enjoy the experience.
Note: In the event of rain, the event will be held inside the restaurant.
