Warm sake lovers, enthusiasts, and curious ones - this is for you. We'll be hosting Jo Takasaki of Tokyo restaurant Takasaki no Okan for a sake masterclass. He'll be sharing his unique approach to okan (warm sake) using a variety of heating materials, serving temperatures, and styles of sake, and we'll taste through several examples as a group to compare and discuss.
Joining Jo for the evening will be his friend and translator (and Niida Honke ambassador) "Akai" Kohei, as well as our colleagues from Sunflower Sake in Portland.
Seating is highly limited. The kitchen will open for dinner service at 6:30 and Jo will stay on with us for a bit to answer questions and chat sake.
