What is more festive than opening a bottle of Champagne? Sadly, we tend to reserve these incredible wines only for those festive and special occasions. I am in the camp that strongly believes these are wines in every sense and should be enjoyed with meals and friends any day of the week! Champagne is one of the most versatile beverages in the world for food pairing, working with everything from oysters, to fried chicken and filet mignon. I look forward to sharing my experiences with this incredible beverage, and show you how it is more than just a luxury commodity.
This class will include a basic tasting of 6 Champagnes from a mix of top maisons and small growers. All guests will enjoy at least one premium/tête de cuvée Champagne as part of the basic option, plus one very special sparkling wine from outside of France. I will also have a range of premium Champagnes ready to taste and discuss for those who are interested. Some wines may be available for purchase.
