We are hosting 4 daily (60-90 minute) sessions, giving our friends a chance to preview the 2023 vintage wines while still in the barrel, getting an education about the process, progress and techniques we use to make the best wine in Virginia.
This year’s barrel tastings will be held as individually seated sessions in our barrel room. Not only will you be tasting the wines, but our wine makers will take you through the process--vineyard to glass---of the wine making process. Among others, we will sample Petit Manseng, Viognier, Chardonnay, and all our 2023 varietal reds, including 10th mission Black Ops and 2022 Ameritage Reserve, both with 18 months barrel age.
All guests will have the opportunity to purchase the 2023 wines at special 'futures' pricing, with wines available for pickup once they are bottled.
For added enjoyment, a small food plate will accompany the wines. Each session has a maximum of 24 people.
