Join us for an intimate evening celebrating raclette, the legendary Alpine cheese that has brought people together for centuries. Our raclette comes from Leelanau Cheese Co. in Suttons Bay, Michigan.
Our kitchen has crafted a menu showcasing this delicious regional raclette alongside vegetables, herbs, and fruits grown on our farm and by neighboring producers.
About Raclette
Raclette is a semi-soft, washed-rind cow's milk cheese known for its exceptional melting quality and silky texture. Its name comes from the French racler, "to scrape," a nod to its traditional preparation, where Alpine shepherds melted it by evening fires and scraped the molten cheese over potatoes and mountain provisions. Once a humble sustenance cheese, raclette has become the centerpiece of communal dining and celebration.
The Menu
Family-style starters, followed by a plated main with unlimited trips to the melting station!
Cheese and pickle plate — housemade preserves, Central Illinois Bakehouse bread, housemade pickles, Prairie Fruits Farm cheese, crackers
Farmstead salad — Meyer lemon vinaigrette, shaved radish, parmigiano reggiano, toasted sunflower seeds, garden kale
Individually Plated Main
Braised short rib, smoked ham, duck foie sausage, broccoli rabe, Kennebec potato, roasted apple
Dessert: Farm Fresh Goat's Milk Gelato

We are unable to offer substitutions for this special dinner. The meal can be made gluten-free by omitting bread service during the starters; please alert your server to any gluten allergies at your table.
