The Definitive Rye Experience - Masterclass
Defining Rye through drinking. Rye whiskey is bold, complex, and often misunderstood. This masterclass unpacks what truly defines rye -technically, historically, and sensorially - through a comparative tasting led by Master Distiller, Jeff Duckhorn.
Guests will explore Redwood Empire Whiskey’s Emerald Giant, Rocket Top, Van Duzen and Cask Strength Emerald Giant to understand how grain selection, proof, aging and blending choices influence spice, texture, and balance. The session examines the Standard of Identity for Rye Whiskey, the spectrum of modern rye styles, and how Redwood Empire approaches category diversity while staying true to tradition.
