We are thrilled to welcome Johann Henschke of the storied and renowned Henschke Winery in the Eden Valley, Australia.
Henschke has long been considered one of the top wine producers in Australia and with a 155 year legacy of being a family-owned operation continues to collect accolades and awards vintage after vintage.
Sixth-generation Winemaker Johann Henschke is the eldest of Stephen & Prue’s three children. He was the first of his siblings to join the family’s winery in 2013 and has worked closely with his parents since.
His interest in wine took him to various countries to work with winemakers such as Leeuwin Estate in Australia, Felton Road in New Zealand, Isole e Olena in Italy and Arietta in the USA. He gained extensive experience in his field and valuable insight into the distinct cultures and approaches to making high quality wine.
